About

Susan Regan, MFT
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

My mission in therapy is to provide a safe time and place for you. The therapeutic relationship is very important. People seek counseling for many reasons. Typically, they know they could be happier or more peaceful, but don’t know how to achieve those things.

During our sessions, most clients find relief from their symptoms within a few months. They also develop insight and skills.

I have been a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist since 1994 and for almost 30 years, I have had a clinical practice and served hundreds of couples and individuals of all ages, and from many different backgrounds, lifestyles, and cultures. I have led support groups that have helped people find the balance between their own fulfillment and connection to each other.

As a trained mediator, I provide co-parenting counseling and mediation with couples and parents, who are in the process of separating. I also facilitate online support groups in the areas of separation, divorce, and co-parenting (amongst other areas) via my sister company Relationship Solutions Programs.

Understanding that people are often blocked in life, due to trauma, I also help these clients by using the EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) technique, and other somatic-based therapies. In addition, I have in-depth training in Narrative, Family Systems, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Enneagram.

Enneagram tests are an excellent way to discover more of what your personality type does and how you connect with another person’s strengths and weaknesses whether it be work, friendships, home, or intimate relationships.

I specialize in many creative methods to work with a variety of clients.
